How to stand out from the crowd
It’s the unique experience and perspective that you bring to the table that makes you stand out.
Last year, we packed up and headed out to Arizona. Leaving behind Pennsylvania for nearly a year.
I flew out with my family, then flew back, packed up our car, and drove out to meet them.
Along the drive, and during our time in Arizona and California, I learned so much. I’ve applied so many of these things to my personal and professional growth.
An accidental hike down the wrong path taught me that the biggest rewards are often at the end of the path less traveled.
The decision to move out West (temporarily) was very last minute. It was risky, but it ended up being very rewarding, teaching me that sometimes the biggest risks lead to the biggest rewards.
The sights I saw along the way, the diverse and amazing nature of the United States along I-40 (and Route 66) taught me that getting outside your box inspires creativity.
I saw some weird and interesting things along the way. Those things are still stuck in my mind, and it taught me that you need to think differently to stand out and make an impact.
Why am I telling you this?
I’m sharing it as an example of the power of sharing your expertise and advice from your unique perspective on life.
We want to get to know the people we see posting content online. We crave the personal stories that make them who they are and add that extra layer of validity to what they say.
