Some ideas stick with you a little longer.

Some ideas are better than others. They grab attention, and the keep attention. Not because they’re louder or more polished, but because they actually apply (to the intended audience). You see them in your work. You test them. They hold up.

That’s the kind of thinking we’ve been focused on lately to help entrepreneurs and content creators navigate the often weird and murky online waters of today.

What’s Actually Working Right Now

There’s a lot of noise around growth, marketing, and AI right now. Some of it’s useful. A lot of it isn’t. You can listen to all of it and become a wild mess, or you can fine tune your listening skills, focus on investing in yourself, and truly grow.

The people making real progress tend to do a few things differently:

  • They stay consistent, even when things feel slow

  • They focus on clarity instead of complexity

  • They use tools like AI to support their thinking, not replace it

It’s not flashy. It can feel boring at time. But it works.

And more importantly, it building momentum and growth over time. Notice I said “over time” not “overnight”.

Where AI Fits (Without Taking Over)

AI has quickly become part of the workflow for a lot of people, but there’s still a gap between using it and using it well. A huge gap in many places.

The difference between using it and using it well usually comes down to intent. The real impact of AI on creators and business leaders isn’t what you might think.

When used well, AI can:

  • Help you organize your thinking

  • Speed up repetitive work

  • Surface insights you might have missed

When used poorly, it creates content that feels disconnected and easy to ignore.

The goal isn’t to do more with AI. It’s to do better work, with a little help.

A New Place for These Conversations

Some of these ideas are easier to talk through than write out.

That’s part of the reason we launched the E&I Creative YouTube channel.

It’s a space for:

  • Real conversations about growth and marketing

  • Practical ways to think about AI and content

  • Perspectives that don’t always fit into short-form posts

Nothing overproduced. Nothing forced.

Just thoughtful conversations that are actually useful. More content to follow, with the month Elevate Examine podcast being added each month and a ton of great, useful content to follow.

A Parting Thought

There’s always going to be something new to chase.

A new tool. A new tactic. A new way to do things faster. Something shiny that catches you eye.

But most of the time, the advantage doesn’t come from chasing those new, shiny things. It comes from doing simple things well, consistently.

That hasn’t changed. It’s just that we’ve gotten away from it in recent years, and it’s time for simplicity to make a comeback.

If you’ve been following along, we appreciate it.

If you’re just getting started, you’re in a good place. Thanks for subscribing the E&I Creative newsletter!
