The problem is when every other person on LinkedIn pulls together some "lessons learned" and very loosely connects them to whatever event or topic is trending at the time.

Don't stop capitalizing on trending topics. Just do it the right way.

🏀 Instead of simply jumping on trends, you need to provide insights, opinions, or actionable tips that educate or entertain your audience in a meaningful way.

🏀 Put your personal spin on a trending topic. Sprinkle in some humor, relatable examples, and other anecdotes using storytelling.

🏀 Make sure the trend aligns with your audience's values and interests. Then pay attention to responses to assess how your content is being received.
